Application link improvements

The following application link improvements have been made:

• SolidWorks 2013 SP SP4 and 2014 are supported. However, as of the date this document was published, viewing of SolidWorks 2014 files was not yet supported by Oracle AutoVue.
• Autodesk AutoCAD Raster Design 2014 is supported.

• A new registry value DocAccessSaveThumbnail was added to the following key to control thumbnail generation by the AutoCAD link:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Cyco\AutoManager Meridian\CurrentVersion\AutoCADLink

The default behavior has also been changed so that thumbnails are not saved by default. Previously, if thumbnail generation failed for any reason, it could prevent property synchronization, which could be more important.

• The performance of opening and saving AutoCAD drawings with many (e.g. 50) layouts and many (e.g. 30) revisions was improved.
• The MS Office application link now supports Visio file properties and can be enabled by setting Windows registry values.
